PEOPLE + PLACE

For nearly a decade, Travis’ work has centered people and place within a 5-mile radius in the core of Memphis and Tulsa

Pattern & Place LLC

Noticing the need to support city builders that get left out of the traditional real estate sector, Travis started Pattern & Place to support the folks and business that make places great and unique. Intentionally choosing to be generalists, Pattern & Place brings connectivity (with capital and local support), financial modeling, and story-telling to the table.

Key projects include:

  • Working with the Urban Land Institute - Oklahoma to build out it’s presence in the Tulsa region

  • Partnering with Be Good Development Partners to provide project management and build capacity for emerging real estate developers in Tulsa

  • Project consulting and request for proposal (RFP) responses for incremental developers in Memphis

  • Coming alongside design firm ooba to model financial feasibility throughout the architectural design process

Memphis Medical District Collaborative

Starting in 2022, Travis has been part of MMDC’s Real Estate team focusing on creating more vibrant, equitable and prosperous neighborhoods within the Medical District. The District encompasses 2.6 square miles and seven neighborhoods, and more importantly a strong cultural backdrop coupled with a unique building stock and architectural fabric.

Key projects include:
